Religion and Theology on the Internet

A selection of Internet links -- many gleaned from the Wabash Center’s Internet Guide -- organized to provide easy access to theology and religion resources on the Internet.

Please Note
Always exercise critical judgment when considering any resource as part of your academic research; this is especially true when it comes to information found on the Internet.  The Internet is an amazing tool, and used wisely, can provide a wealth of information; however, as in all academic work, you must consider the credibility of your sources. 

Academic Study of Religion
The study of religion in relationship to other disciplines. Philosophy, psychology, religious studies, science, and sociology.
Arts and Religion

Religion and its relationship to the creative arts: dance, film, literature, music, the visual arts. Includes links to select museums and art collections.

Biblical Studies

Christian and Hebrew scripture resources. Archaeology, textual studies, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Bible related art resources.

The Christian Church and Social Issues

The Church and various social issues and concerns: abortion, capital punishment, environment, GLBT, social justice, violence, war and peace, women.

Christian Ethics
Christian ethical thought, including sections on bioethics and politics.
