D.Min. — Doctor
of Ministry Degree
North
American society, the church, and ministry are constantly
changing. New configurations and new challenges emerge
again and again. The D.Min. at United Theological Seminary
is designed for ministers seeking to renew their ministry
and lead through social and ecclesial change.
Organized
in convenient modular form, the degree equips ministers
with advanced skills for analysis and reflection, increased
expertise in disciplines critical to the students’ ministerial
success, and the ability to develop new understandings
and models that will shape the churches’ ministry
in the new century.

“The
Worship and the Arts program that is available
at United Seminary was very enticing to me. My
final decision was made because of the opportunities
for independent study in this program. It is a
much more flexible program than I found in any
of the other seminaries that I investigated.”
