I like to sew, read novels, take long walks, and play golf. Gifted with friends who share my interests, I enjoy live theater, classical music concerts, and operas. I am currently serving on the board of directors of ARC Retreat Community. And I am always happy to let a restaurant do the cooking.

“My concerns weave together Christian Education and spiritual formation. Effective educational ministries equip and empower children, youth, and adults to encounter God in both personal and corporate ways. This includes knowing the tradition of the Church, as well as being open to challenging and transforming the Church in ways that are faithful and just.”

“Spiritual formation is effective when it awakens persons and communities of faith to be faithful in their relationships with Jesus Christ, caring in their relationships with others, and committed to living lives that are part of God’s transforming work in the world.”
