bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Mature
adults with significant life and vocational experience
who have earned at least half of the credits toward a bachelor’s
degree may be considered for the M.Div., M.A.R.L.,
or Diploma
in Indian Ministries programs, particularly if
strong exposure to the liberal arts and social sciences
can be demonstrated.
The
Diploma in Indian Ministries is a cohort-based program.
Students are admitted to the program only as part of a
cohort of sufficient size.

in Advanced Theological Studies
- Spoken
and written English language
proficiency.
- Previous
study of theology in a theological school approved by
the student’s denomination.
- Recommendation
by the student’s
denomination.
- Evidence
of sufficient personal and social stability to profit
from studies at United.
- Willingness
to engage in the life of the seminary and, where appropriate,
participate in local church life.
